Transient Gladiator
Hey /a/, Gou Chenyang here. I'm making a comic (TRANSIENT GLADIATORS) and it's technically not manga, but it's Western Manga ok?What should I watch
I've never watched anime. Yes you've heard me correct. Never! If you don't count a couple of Pokemon episodes.Dragon Ball Super
"I, SISSYza-sama, JOBBER of the Universe humbly kneel to:Where did it go?
I remember being a little kid and watching anime on YouTube, and this shit was inescapable. I personally watched the anime and read the first volume of the LN and thought it good, but wasn't anything special. But I remember for a good 3 or so years Haruhi was practically the face of anime worldwide, and then it just disappeared. What happened to it? Why did its popularity fizzle out so quickly?/SNK/ General
How you guys felt about the ending?azumanga
after being aware of it for a few years but never actually watching it, I decided to try watching azumanga daioh and i must admit that the 4cuck oldfags were right, it is kino. i was initially quite dissuaded from watching it because of all the xittertrannies and normgroids who recently picked up the show and started flaunting their admiration for it at every possible turn, thoughbeit im unemployed and have nothing to do all day so i decided that i may as well at least try watching it to pass the time. now that ive finished it, i I can confidently say that out of the 15ish slice of life anime I've watched in my life, im quite sure azumanga is the best of all of them. unlike almost every shonen anime ive ever watched where i felt like i had to grit my teeth and force myself to watch it, i found myself actively rationing out the episodes of azumanga instead of just rushing through them to get through to the end as quickly as possible because i wanted to savour and really engage with every moment of the show. for only 26 episodes I was honestly surprised with how much attachment I could build to these characters and how much i could grow to like them, even if i didnt care for them initially. I think this sentiment is most exemplified with chiyo, who i hated at the beginning of the show for her high pitched voice and over the top demeanor which i found to be incredibly grating thoughever by the time the graduation scene rolled around i had built a genuine appreciation for her character, and i felt that i could almost relate to her because of how sombre it was to see all of the characters move on with their lives and for the show to conclude, but i knew that it was necessary. if azumanga was some thrembillion episode long goyslop gag show like the simpsons or family guy then it wouldnt have the quality or temporal nature that made it special in the first place.Bleach TYBW Cour 4 Teaser Trailer

This whole board only exists because the only response the kind of anime 'fans' you get on 4cuck's /a/ and twitter or youtube or whatever other platform to any kind of criticism whatsoever is total emotional shutdown; vain threats, empty accusations and meaningless insults. This is one of the only places left (that I've bothered to look for o algo) where you can talk in open and honest terms about how lolicon culture and its broader impact on western otaku culture is a horrifically evil cope that demands you participate in sexual degeneracy in order to access something that makes you happy, and yet no one who needs to hear that is actually here. If they were they'd just shit up the board more than it's already shit with trannypedo loli porn and chatGPT tier takes on random ass anime no one cares about. It's a toothless board where everyone is trying to bite at something that isn't there. Why do you watch anime?
In my case it's because I am extremely autistic and low functioning. I watch anime because my ADHD prevents me from paying attention to anything that does not have flashy colors, squealing or exaggerated scenery. Anime emotions are usually big, loud, and dramatic, making them easier to read than real-world emotions which helps my mental retardation. I am also drawn to characters designed ambiguously and gender reversed roles to cope with my homosexuality. I cannot comprehend real life responsibilities, have zero social awareness and cannot understand satire or criticismDid anyone else’s mom and/or dad like anime as a kid?
My late father was a big fan of Mach GoGoGo (also known as Speed Racer, the first Japanese cartoon to air on American television in 1967 and had a notoriously bad English dub in retrospect). He liked it so much as a kid that he introduced it to me before I even started kindergarten, so it was pretty much my first exposure to anime. I keep the collector’s edition DVD box as well as an original toy of the Mach Five that he had. I can’t vividly remember, but I also think he liked Ghost in the Shell and Cowboy Bebop whenever it was on TV late at night when I was really little. I don’t think I’ll ever know for sure since we never really had a close relationship. My stepfather and mother on the other hand only know the American Hanna-Barbera cartoons like Scooby-Doo and The Flintstones, so I couldn’t really talk about anime with them even if I wanted to. If my pops were still around today, I wonder if I could share the stuff I like with him (Clannad, Violet Evergarden, etc.) Anyone else have a similar experience? Should I try to introduce anime to my mom and stepfather?Read Hokuto no Ken —— unless you're a tranny
Hokuto no Ken (HnK), aka Fist of the North Star (more accurately Fist of the Northern Dipper), is an incredible epic story with amazing artwork.this is the trvth about anime
Most of the anime you watch is dogshit and not worth anyones time. it is either goonslop or the same copy paste fights over and over. this is a fact. the only few good animes are attack on titan code geass death note monster and a few others but that is it bro/TASG/ - Top Anime Songs General

Im not big on the consumption of … im not sure what youd call it. But what i do want to consume is violent grotesque absurd gore. I really like the way some of these artists portray the grotesque, like genocyber.Azumanga does not need a spin-off.
Title. I have continuously seen the take that Azumanga NEEDS a spinoff to better flesh out it's side characters in the community for a while, and I just can't find myself in any place where I can agree. I think the story has run it's course. I don't think any of the side characters (i.e. Nyamo and Tanizaki or Chihiro and Kaorin) would be nearly as compelling as the main cast. I'm open to discussion on how you think such a thing could work THOUGH.Hajime no Ippo
This is the best sports anime ever. It's a fun watch and creator really understands the sport he's portraying, it goes over everything: how people fall out of training, the ego behind fights, weight-cutting, the life of journeymen, the different "styles" boxers have, etc. The fights are some of the most entertaining I've seen in anime and it's literally just people punching, and it probably has to do with how much weight the show puts behind each one, not a single fight in this show is boring every single one is amazing. But the stuff inbetween each fight is good too, the slice of life + training that goes on is really entertaining and never goes on for so long that it leaves you bored waiting for the next fight. This show is perfectly paced and also one of the only animes that has ever genuinely made me laugh. If you're thinking of watching and need a reference I think its kinda like part 4 of jjba if it was an entire show. The only gripe I have with it is the result of ONE of the fights and that when it got picked up and revived again after a hiatus the animation lost some of the "sovl" in the newer stuff that was in the og anime. I highly recommend it even if you dont like boxing or sports anime in general. give it a try!
