i only watched the anime and i liked it very much, but after learning the plot its not very rewatchable

Animes dont need reboots they dont spoil or go bad like wtf? the only good anime reboots were Hellsing Ultimate and FMAB and both of them were only rebooted because their original anime catched up to the manga and went a different way

Steins gate keeps doing anime reboots to try to reach the mainstream audience but the Original VN will always be king. The visual novel is very long but its far better than the anime because of its art, music and Branching storylines.

The VN music was reused in the anime which was composed mostly by Takeshi Abo, who also did Lease that went viral a few weeks back with Frutiger aero

The original art is top notch and felt more airy or dreamlike to me with light speckled all across the characters. I'll attach some examples comparing the OG to the anime:
