Hard to say from the top of my head, i have played lots of RPGs.

If you are interested in action RPGs, there's the PS2 Castlevanias such as Curse Of The Darkness and Lament Of innocence, Shining Force EXA(PS2), the Danball Senki games, Bleach Soul Carnival 2 (PSP)(Might need to activate a cheat code to run it on emulator), Bleach Soul Resurreccion(PS3),
Rune Factory Tides Of Destiny(PS3), Demon's Souls(PS3).

There's the TRPGs, like the mainline Summon Night, Luminous Arc and Super Robot Wars games as far as i remember.

Turn based, there's Zoids Legacy for the gba and Radiant Historia for nds, both having more complex battle systems involving frontlines and backlines.

As for dungeon crawlers, i can only remember/recommend Shining Soul for the gba, Lunar Knights(nds) and the nds Digimon Games.

Scrub through and have a look. Attacks box you in (1:04), track you down (21:47) and ask you to react swiftly. There are plenty of cues though, like targets in Martlet's feather attack at 2:36 or the area alerts at 13:45. It gets much more mileage out of the orange and blue attacks like 8:45 or 20:32. Ive stsrted playing Red dead redemption 1 on ps3 recently because i thought it looked cool. I like the gameplay and feel, it is fun, but any time theres dialogue i dont like it. Within the first couple missions, Marston is already agreeing with everything the girlboss says, including comments made about "maybe some things could be done better by a woman". He also tells one of the sheriff deputies that the industrialists from the east destroying their way of life is just like the heckin' wholesome injuns losing theirs or something.

Other characters in the game still have some of that earlier rockstar racism n shieet that makes it more funny. Im pretty sure the shopkeeper said "you wont find anything jewish made in here". But when the main character is a 21st century liberal in the 1910 wild west it does feel very forced.
