I invented a new card game. It can be played with a standart 52 deck, no jokers.

<Preparation
The game is played between three players, not more, not less. First, the deck is shuffled. After that, the top card and all jokers are discarded, so that there are 51 cards left. Then, each player is given 10 cards. Players may look at their own cards, but they shan't show them to the other players.

After that, the remaining cards are shuffled again, and three decks of 7 cards are formed, face down. These decks are called reserves. Each player must choose one reserve to own. Players may not turn their reserves face up or in any way look at the contents of their reserves just yet.

After the preparations are done, the game begins. It proceeds in consecutive turns. Idk which player must have his turn first, the descision is left for (You).

are we just going to ignore the fact that Dess is the roaring knight but she actually is also adopted human like Kris and she has the orange (bravery) soul while Kris has the cyan soul (patience) which got replaced by the player (angel) so it enchances their relationship and parallels even more than them just being childhood friends. Thoughts?

What do you think of fallout 1 and 2? i think they could have been way better games if they didn't try to imitate pen and paper roleplay games so much, those may work when playing with friends but on a videogame their systems don't translate as well as expected.
It's really stupid to have you skill with a gun determine your accuracy through rng, or to have a dice roll to see if you will land a crit or miss critically. I also hate how certain stat or equipement combinations make it so you can't hurt or get hurt even if you land a hit. And this problem doesn't really go away once you get good and understand how everything works; once you get to that point, the game just becomes annoying busywork. I cleared the deathclaw cave yawning because it was so easy.
The quests are hard to follow on their own if you don't note everything that happens, and there are potential solutions or alternate paths you may not even know of because the game doesn't bother telling you, and they sometimes get bugged and you can't beat them like having an npc die but not being able to contiue or fail.
The way the map works and how you enter combat also makes it very easy to exploit and get to a meta build asap. In fallout 2 once you know where san francisco and navarro are, there really is no reason not to go there first so you can get an enclave power armor and plasma rifle, hurting replay value.
A lot of things that happen makes me think the game was built around a strategy guide i don't own, going blind truly is a lamentable experience. I wouldn't blame anyone who fought the rats in the vault 13 cave or the ants in the temple of trials and decided these games suck.
Wikislop games are hateful and annoying, having to do homework to understand things the game should communicate itself is unnecesary and just clutters the experience.
Hate bethesda all you want but fallout 3 did what 1 and 2 failed at, it's a fun game, whereas fallout 1 and 2 feel like annoying busywork.
Todd said he wouldn't do remakes or anything of the sort, i think it's because he is a lazy idiot who doesn't know how to improve these systems.
I played fallout 1 three times and 2 four times, can't think of many positives to say other than ambience and that some alternative quests have an interesting plot.
