I never really liked mkt but i played a lot the n64 version when i was a kid. The emulator ran so bad it slowed down constantly, i could see the game cheat.
And the mk1 stages were the worst by far so i'm glad we had few, i would have prefered none seeing how bad they looked with the mk3 characters. That dissonance between characters and stage is also the reason i don't like mugen.

mother 1 is peak, mother2/earthbound is the leftover ideas from 1, 3 is a complete closure of the series everything exagerated to it's furthest and draining any possible thing the first 2 hadn't covered. I'd 100% recommend playing mother 1 and finishing that first before even touching the rest, play mother 2 if you enjoyed the first one. Mother 3 is a tough recommendation tbqh unless you loved playing the first 2 idk what you'd think of the third, genuinely play them in order even if you only play the very first game it will be worth it.

I bought the Dreamcast collection about 10 years ago (evendoe nights is from saturn but whatever) and i played all the games for at least 40 hours in the least played and 300 in the most playedo. However i have never even installed nights, and i have it in the back since. Maybe i will try it if i ever get a Wii so i can play it's sequel too.

Best modding scene ever. Actual substance instead of 20 trillion reshades, memes, and porn mods. I don't even want a new game, I want a remaster/remake that also enables multicore and rebalances a few things like proton torpedoes. Oh, and I guess change up how land battles work. Just copy Age of Empires III for that, or something. But seriously, we don't need a sequel or some kind of canon reimagining. That would eat up budget that could be used on things that actually matter.

But this will never happen because Disney. If they were to make an RTS, it would be completely new and they would try to shove it into canon instead of letting it be fun. At least we have the Empire at War Remake mod.

Nobody should imagine a world that could not exist anyway and would be misleading and wrong to imagine. This is literally that.
