The most goated 3DS game but probably not THE goated game in the Megami Tensei series. The game did have the best soundtracks and gameplay, story was alright but the neutral route’s side-quests sucked. I only liked the Law ending.

Have any of you guys ever just kinda stumbled into speedrunning a game on a casual level? Back when I was really into Hades I ended up being able to fairly reliably get runs well under 15 minutes. Picrel is my fastest run I could find a screenshot for (12:34.42), although I think I had a slightly faster run at some point.

They were two games, these two were my favourites, it was one where you had to destroy several cars in machines, I think it was called car crusher or something like that. The other one was a game where you had to survive a giant, I think the name was giant survival, there were several maps, weapons and other stuff. However, if I remember correctly, the dev JSID for reasons I don't know what they were and the sequel remained which was snca and had character customization, which was also snca. I think the sequel was shut down too

I get that it's supposed to be a New Generation (hence the name)
but only adding Ryu, Ken and Chun-Li from the original is pointless
Cammy, Sagat and Vega-Claw would've been great additions besides just Ryu, Ken and Chun-Li.

I'm guessing you are an oldfag so maybe it was different for you when this game was releasing and there wasn't too many mainstay characters in street fighter but I personally could give less of a fuck about the main cast. Capcom's version of the bing bing wahoo man (Ryu and friends) are in every fucking street fighter game way past their expiration date. I think 3 of the main cast was more than fine enough, though I will admit seeing vega with a sf3 type moveset and animations would have been pretty cool.
In my perfect little world street fighter 3rd strike would be the last you ever see of the main cast and Ryu gets replaced with the much cooler and interesting main character Alex and I guess Sean to replace Ken.

I've seen some sprite work for what non-SF3 mainstays could've looked like in 3 and they all look really good. Maybe in another timeline we could've got more classic SF characters in it. I know the game didn't do as hot upon initial release because a lot of people were pissed too much of the old gen weren't in there.

nothing about Ryu screams interesting for a central protagonist character. Ryu works better as a villainous antagonist.
