It's a flight simulator focused on World war 1 and 2. The creators are currently releasing a simulator for the Korean War. i think it's one of the most realistic flight simulators out there at the moment. Despite its flaws and physics engine glitches.

By default, landing gear and flaps are controlled by the keyboard. It usually doesn't take that long to master controls. It doesn't take as long to learn as DCS (although this depends on how high you put the realism setting on)

I reccomend starting off with VTOL vr with the hotas mod or il-2 sturmovik 1946.

Vr/tracking is a must.

Start with low realism and gradually up the difficulty. If you start with high realism you are just going to crash

i'm making a tfr submod for this very shit website, i'll document my progress here and take suggestions o algo

the mod will include all admins+possible admins, none of them will be able to stay as admin forever, you'll only be able to extend it. other paths will be included too like the feds/cordtroons. i'm torn between making the normgroids join soyjak party and making a 2 tier system where the normgroids of america are enslaved to soyteens.

the mod is currently in a state where i have the basic content done, from the perspective of any other coutnry you'll see soot's soyjak party fight against the southeast of the us and probably lose. what's remaining (90% of the actual work) is adding content so gameplay as it is actually enjoyable. no idea when i might get around to releasing it but i only started development a few weeks ago and i didn't have too much time so far

it works now 99% of the time but sometimes there is an error when my parser farts, dumps argv[0] into the output file (somehow???) and runs into a segmentation fault. Nevermind that, picrel translates into C code well and may run.

The air ambulance mission is bugged and if the chopper explodes you won't respawn at the hospital, just remain there. The vigilante mission also broke at least for me, having beaten level 13 the mission didn't end, it just remained with the interface and i had to cancel it myself and lose all the progress. Domo Arigato Domestoboto has a very curious glitch in which if when crossing a door with the domestobot you get called, the domestobot will fall outside of the map, explode, and fail you the mission.

I love the morals of this game
