I think that East Slavic languages were just some amalgam of Slavic dialects which came to be close together because of one Rus state. Ukraine west of Dnieper belonged to the same archeological culture (Prague-Korchak) as Czechia, Lesser Poland or Sorbia and some of Polish infuences could be just local differences and Russia belonged to mix of Kolochin and Penkovka. Plus I read that Russian was influenced by Old Church Slavic (basically ancient Macedonian).
Basically there's a Wikipedia article named Old East Slavic and there's comparison of these languages.

Reminder that Grand Duchy of Lithuania was not European or even pagan
It was an Islamic caliphate that directly descended from the Batu Khan's Horde
Whenever Litvinist cucks or baltnogs try to wewuz about "muh Ruthenia", remind them that they were never pagans or Slavic, they were never Rurik, and they will never be Russia
Moscow will always be Russia
Moscow = Russia = Ruthenia
Ruthenia is just the Latin word that means land of the Rus, while Russia is the Greek word for land of the Rus
Moscow was the only Principality that was Rurik, after the Horde conquered Russia anyway
Anyone telling you otherwise is a Banderite or Litvinist jartycuck mutt rape baby of Lithuanian Mongol shitskins
