What version did Minecraft start becoming coalish?

 β„–54210[Quote]

when they added axolotls then it became fully coal after they added the fuggen cute baby mobs to appeal to the masses

 β„–54211[Quote]

1.15 was the beginning of the end and 1.17 made it unsalvageable. Copper might as well be troonite ore

 β„–54259[Quote]

What is the last good version of miney crafta? I only play 1.8.9

 β„–54261[Quote]

>>54259
1.12.2

 β„–54270[Quote]

Whenever mobs being "cute" started to become a selling point. So, starting in 1.16 and becoming terminal at 1.20.

Why do they want to make cozycore slop so badly, anyway? Are the people in charge just chasing the 2020 trend way too late?

 β„–54345[Quote]

1.17. I may be biased because I started playing on 1.16 but I feel like 1.16 actually added cool stuff to the game. Everything after it felt unnecessary and soulless.

1.18 with the new cave gen was the last version of the game I bothered playing

 β„–54419[Quote]

1.9

 β„–54637[Quote]

1.13 was the start of the troon era but the seeds were sown in 1.6

Seeing the minecraft live announcement, watch whatever they reveal be some shitty cuteslop mob that will be able to be pet once every 10 minutes to get a new "fluffy fur" item that needs to be crafted 2x2 to be made into a block, and looks like wool but a tiny bit different. This will be the only thing thats a part of this """"""drop"""""" since we don't do big updates anymore because the indians at microsoft can't code bugrock edition.

If you were to ask me a few months ago, I would've said 1.12.2 cause I think 1.13 is where it really started to coal up and by 1.15 that shit went full reddit with the heccin trans bees or whatever. doesn't help is that 1.13 was around when xbox one edition got discontinued and that was the one I played the most at that time with my mates
<
upon my MEDIA-LITERATE critical evaluation, I concluded that 1.12 was actually kinda mid as an update and that it truly went downhill by the time microsoft. it peaked at 1.8 as it's the last pre-microsoft update and the last one that Notch himself worked on, even if I think there are a few interesting things that got added in the 3 years after that like the woodland mansions and all. by the texture update, microsoft had already got their greasy indian hands all over minecraft
<
i'd say around the time they went full "kids game" with fundamental education edition or whatever it's called, adding a useless reddit gold wholesome 100 to raise awareness about whatever SNCA environmentalist cuckery and sell plushies every update, cutting ties with 4J, making bedrock the "real" minecraft. by the time of them refusing to invite notch to that one party they held, the BLM and trans splashes and rulecucking java servers that shit was well and truly over
<
wordswordswords anyways I'd say it started with 1.9 but only really became a problem around 1.13 or 1.15 depending on how fine you are with newfaggery. 1.12.2 is the latest I'd willingly play on that isn't with friends or a server

release 1.3 was the first sign of coal. 1.13 was when it went down the path of no return.

i did like the ability to swim in water but it was the extra fluff they added that just didnt fit

There was rot before but 1.15 was the most noticeable and the final nail in the coffin was 1.17. In my opinion 1.13 is the beginning of nucraft as it influenced every update following it and the direction of the game. The update itself was good but looking back at the updates its easy to draw a line in the sand from 1.13 and the updates that preceeded it, the rot started with 1.9 but the updates in between were all really small so it wasn't able to be noticed but after 1.13 you tell the game was being updated in a very different way than before, which was a breath of fresh air at first but now you can see the damage microslop has done to the game

i’ve been playing since like 2011 and its so sad to see the game just get raped as the years go by but thankfully I can go back and play good versions.
I can’t say the same for other games like TF2 doe
