I liked it but it gets very boring by the last floor, specially if you want de DOCTOOS rank in al stages.
Anyone who enjoyed it should play Toejam & Earl 2. 'P Tower already has been the more Genesis game released in decades, so coming back to a classic will be a great way to discover the excellent Sega games from the past.

What's your favorite character to play as/with?

Baba is extremely good. I wasn't always the biggest fan of the puzzles that were based solely on specific movement rather than manipulating concepts/rules but overall it was great

Its one of the gemmiest games i ever played and one of my favorite puzzle games
The only problem is that sometimes puzzles are hard to understand
But once you learn the mechanics of the game it becomes very enjoyable

I agree for me the atmosphere and levels where more memorable in the first however the 2nd did have some cool additions to itself, namely the added weapons and bosses. while i didnt prefer launching enemies over endlessly juggling them, it was nice to have either option between both games.
at this point I wouldnt mind another mccoy game in the series. maybe something much larger scale than the first two but with a price tag, anything but what they did with that shitty new Zombotron sequel on steam..

one of the cofounders of flipline studios (the developers) said theyre considering remastering the games and releasing them on steam but havent said anything else about it since like early 2024,they did remaster another platformer last year so theres still hope it'll be out one day but no one knows when
