replaying it on hard rn and it really shows the jankiness of the combat system, the punch + punch + kick combo is really inconsistent since enemies can grab you mid-combo for some reason
another good move to spam is the crouch up + punch, does good damage, knock back and most importantly gives you hyper armor
cartwheel dodge backwards is great for positioning when overwhelmed

I just finished it and it was kino, the choices we're pretty impactfull, changing the factions along the games chapters, I played it on the hardest difficulty (Like the Supreme ARYAN Slayer that I am) and some parts were pretty annoying but the rest wasn't bad at all, if you complete most quests you vvil become strong enough for any monster, the combat was brimstone, too simplistic and janky. Overall was a fun time, worth the 60 hours

Just played it today for a bit, it's a fantastic game. If the bloodsucker thing bothers you that much, you probably won't like it that much as A-Life is kinda janky and since Bloodsuckers are so powerful they can sometimes spawn in packs of like 3-4 at most from my experience. But just take a shotty and you'll deal with them

If you wait for next big sale then they definitely will iron out more bugs by then. They release huge updates every few months which add new content and fix tons of bugs.

Gem because its good. Its like the nearest thing to real life combat that you can play. I would definetly play this if i could afford it, but i played other games that have similar if not the exact premise to it.
The no lifers thing i agree, but if you can't adapt to that then its just a skill issue. you can always just rat in a corner and wait for them if youre a pussy anyways
