ddlc is a simulacrum of a dating sim that uses tropes and characters. plotwise it just isnt true but i see what your saying with the whole club of 4 girls + mc. kei-chan is a much more defined character and none of these characters cleanly fit on any higurashi character outside of "leader" and "angry small girl"
