THIS is the legacy of mystery house? Imagine showing this to a middle aged unc who worked on software for the apple II, they’d implode on the spot

>>136844 (OP)where did you get the translation from?

№137151[Quote]
>>137131Shizuku guideDLs
Shizuku ROM:
https://archive.org/download/siz_20230130/%5BPC98-HDI%5D%5B960626%5D%5BLeaf%5D%E9%9B%AB-%E3%81%97%E3%81%9A%E3%81%8F-/Neko Project (PC 98 Emulator):
https://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/computer/kekoproject2.htmlEnglish Patch:
https://github.com/Her-Saki/shizuku_pc98_eng/releases (only download the 2.2 one)
<preddit spaceOnce you have all those things, extract the patch to whatever folder you want.
Extract Neko Project II into a separate folder
Then you put the .hdi from the ROM you downloaded into the same folder as the patch.
Then you run patch_regular bat if you want it with h-scenes (non ero if you don't)
If you have a real PC98 (which you don't) you could skip the emulator and just apply the patch_real_hard bat (geg)
If you did this correctly you should have a Shizuku_Eng.hdi
<preddit spaceNow you're good to go
to run the VN, start the Emulator (np2nt.exe)
right click on the screen -> HardDisk -> SASI#1 -> open -> select the Shizuku_Eng.hdi
then right click the screen again -> Emulate -> Reset

>>137151Can you use dosbox-x for this?
№137190[Quote]
>>137189it could work. I think PC98 ran on a dos-based OS customized for Japan
№137193[Quote]
>>137190No, it ran on specialized hardware developed by NEC, though the OS and (some) of the hardware are ripoffs of american stuff, they're not compatible
