On August 24, 2026, artist and Opium label member Ken Carson posted the tracklist for his upcoming EP, Cartunez. The finalized tracklist comes to a shock to many fans, as while Osamason makes an appearance as a featured artist on the track "Vamp City", Nettspend is not featured at all despite him being featured in promotional images for the upcoming project. This has created a fallout between Osamason and Nettspend, and both rappers have unfollowed each other on social media. Osamason also went as far to delete comments he made on Nettspend's mom's Instagram page, and some people associated with Nettspend like CXO and Wegonbeok have unfollowed Osamason as well.
In retaliation, Wegonbeok (Ok), who has produced some of Nettspend's greatest hits such as "Nothing like uuu" and "F*CK SWAG", announced that he would be dropping Osamason from his upcoming mixtape. Twitter fanpage Osama Vault claims that this was because Ok wanted to place a song on his tape that was supposed to be on Osamason's upcoming album "Nocturnal", but Osamason refused, as well as general accusations of Osamason being "fake." Osama Vault also claims that Nettspend's absence from Cartunez was due to sabotage from CXO. CXO has produced various songs for Nettspend as well as mixing work, and intentionally failed to get Nettspend's verse sent over to Ken Carson on time. Both CXO and Ok have reportedly objected to Nettspend working with Ken Carson. CXO has denied these allegations.
These recent developments have placed the upcoming collaborative album between Osamason and Nettspend "NXO" in jeopardy. Via an Instagram story, Nettspend announced he would be pulling out of the Toronto underground rap festival "First Class Fest", where he was scheduled to headline alongside Osamason and Che (who also withdrew for unrelated reasons), and people are suspecting this is due to the fallout between him and Osamason. Underground rap fans have been left shocked and heartbroken, as NXO was one of the most hyped upcoming projects in the scene, and the bond between Osamason and Nettspend was beloved by fans, with many people comparing their relationship to that of rappers Playboi Carti and Lil Uzi Vert. Both rappers have collaborated on multiple tracks, such as "Cha Ching", "Withdrawls", and most recently on "pain talk", which was featured on Nettspend's 2026 album "early life crisis."
