there are some strong NS influences that permeated from the first wave of BM especially from the infamous Norwegian scene, that gained a lot of notoriety via the Black Circle scene which Varg "Count Grishnackh" Vikernes was a part of and was instrumental in giving it form.
later on Varg Vikernes would go on to condemn BM calling it "nigger music" (???) or something and move on to making viking metal. but there are a lot of NSBM bands that exist to this day.

Also GBK is not really black metal but blackened heavy metal and their lyrics are mostly just against Judeo-Christianity, Arghoslent is the one that is explicitly racial.

Don't see why not. I want to get into them but can't stand the unbingeable "monster of the week" format inherent to those tv shows. I watched mechanical violator hakaider thoughever and really enjoyed it even though the protagonist is a villain from a show i didn't watch beforehand. Any toku movies you recommend?

Thoughts on music being officially "remastered"? Can they be considered a replacement for the original or just another version even though it's closer to what the artist originally intended and sounds like when performing live?
I do the latter when listening to industrial even when i also like the newer version.

i usually listen to remasters because theyre louder
since i dont use streaming, its harder to keep everything a consistent volume
i have alot of loud music from the 2000s already so i try to have any new albums i download match that general level
i know people complain about the loss of dynamics but as an audio engineer, the only thing being compressed most of the time are the peaks of the drums
many original masters also dont use all the headroom available despite still being compressed leaving alot of missed gain on the table
i like my music to sound dense and the compression is almost always inaudible when at a normal listening volume anyway
youd have to lower it to really tell a difference
