The problem with this show wasn't even really the missing plot pieces IMO, the important stuff can mostly be pieced together. For why the circus exists, Caine made it and got the brain scans working because of his hard coded programming to entertain. The real problem was the show fucking sucked and the finale just cheated viewers completely with Caine magically coming back, Jax dying for nothing, and Caine being immediately forgiven just because he removed the other ai from his skull.
