No one in the original was female nor Black
They had to pull their Hollywood DEI agenda.
I actually took professional level acting and spoke with SAG-Aftra reps who told me about Equity.
this is why movies suck so much. they have people waiting on equity level to get auditions first before non equity status (even if they hold a sag)

it also had to try and fill reason as to why the rooms existed in the first place as if it was some sort of Silicon Valley company that stumbled upon it. the movie is about Santa Clara valley but was filmed in British Columbia. so it looks nothing like the real San Jose area. it looks more canadian rockies
