unoffial 1.6 patch is still being updated to this day, so there is still a small surviving fanbase. other than that its my childhood game that fills niche no other game of the same genre quite does. purpose for the mod, despite the boomer like nostalgia is, that this is what felt lacking in it. all the units and building feel a bit jam packed there

Model are in nif format, so fur just rescaling i use nifskope. When i move to buildings ill probably have to use blender to make new models and textures, wich ahould probably bit more challenging. Also with the rescaling you cant fuck around too mich since it messes with the hitboxes and causes crashes on some units

Melody in metal:
I don't like melodeath as they focus to much on melody rather than death metal. I only like Carcass(but surgical steel felt more like a mix of death n roll,melodeath and Heavy metal).
To me they focus to much on melody and become more like power metal than death metal.

As for thrash metal with melodic elements in it FUCKING sucks
XENTRIX IS MY least favorite thrash band . Kreator always felt more like power metal specially in there newer album.

However I do like Annihilator.

Neofolk (originally known as apocalyptic folk) is a music genre that originally emerged during the 1980s through the British post-punk and industrial music scene. It is primarily characterized by acoustic instrumentation and draws influences from dark wave and post-industrial styles such as dark ambient(according to Jewkepedia).

Anyways, this is my Sol Invictus (Neo-folk band) vinyl, if you don't know about this genre, I recommend you to listen to it.
