Java, language is high level enough to be easily learnt by anyone and easy to do just about anything you want while still being general enough for concepts to transfer over to other languages. The language has a pretty amazing standard library that includes just about anything you could ask for, amazing documentation, and an ecosystem that's probably only beaten by Rust in terms of simplicity. And it's not a braindead retardlang like Python or JeetScript either so you won't feel a huge shock when you move on to other languages

techbros… i have a question (android);
what do you do for your phone's battery so it doesn't deteriorate? i have changed mine twice this year, and it still shuts off at 20-40% occasionally. i have also shut off most of (((Google)))'s options for tracking and data-selling or whatever for longer battery life.
however it really heats up when i charge it, so i try to cool it on colder surfaces (on the floor, for example). what do my odds look like, /tech/? newphono or can i continue using it? phul respect saars

Just drain it as slowly as possible, to delay the recharge. Some things I do:

- battery saver mode is always on
- keep "location data", "bluetooth" and "wifi" turned off as much as possible
- which apps do you really need? uninstall the others
- unlock phono only when necessary
- buy an alarm clock, poweroff phono at night

A new battery should only need recharging once a week. Mine is already old, so I have to recharge after three days.

Why do C++ users insist on naming classes and types in snake_case instead of PascalCase like literally every other language? Do they have rocks for brains or something?

I know this is probably old news, but it didn't really hit me until I decided to check current phonos on offer, only to find out only 20% of ALL phones offered have a jack AND half of those phones are dumb/construction phones btw
and even then the smart phonos are low to mid tier stuff from literal who companies, as far as I can tell the only decent phones with a 3.5 are made by Motorola
is the jack really gonna go extinct just like removable batteries did?
