Expect to pay out the ass whatever you get. I would recommend getting used if its known to be reliable unless you are a richGOD. Possibily get a used from a party or a refurbished DIY edition framework 16 from their website? I don't much care for modern chinkpads nowadays. Dell has fucked me too many times outside of enterprise for me to ever go back

I fucking hate C and C++. I started writing a compiler in C and gave up because of lack of abstraction (no classes, no generics, no lists, no maps, NOTHING) Converting pointers to void* sucks it's not a good way to do generics. Also I constantly get memory errors because Im too retarded to manage memory. I hate C++ because it has 10000000 features and 1000000 ways to do the same thing and it's fucking ugly, it compiles up to 40 seconds for me and the errors are incomprehensible. Oh and you can't write C++ as C because you just cant, okay? It's considered bad pratice for WHAT fucking reason is it called after C then??
