I have very little idea how a "fascist detection system" would actually work on Linux, but I imagine it's some sort of telemetry-based moderation that checks if you try logging into Truth Social or the Sharty and sudo rm -rf /*s your system drive if you do. Unironically, this is the sort of thing that these tech trannies that grift on the ideas of privacy and free speech would 100% support because they don't actually care about those things. Really great OS. You have control over everything, it's not full of bloat and AI shit and it's easy to install if you use the web installer like in vidrel (you do need a chromium browser for it however). I have it and it's nice so far.

It's fine enough. You don't have root perms but that doesn't get in the way for most shit because you have perms to do most things already. Battery life is really good but it takes some configuring to get things set up well (doe less than stock android). It's better than anything else you can put on a pixel, not sure about what other phones use.

Geg that cpu is a beast. I gamed on a Q6600 until about 2019 but I had 2 8800GTs in sli with AFR2 forced in every game. I'd try overclocking the GPU core and vram as much as you can (repasting will probably cost as much as the card so dont) and if you run into any games that are CPU bottlenecked overclock that and memory. It will be surprisingly playable for oldfag games. I'd normally say upgrade to double the RAM (going from 2 sticks to 4 with 2 roughly similar ones) if you want to try anything modern but idk the price on ddr2 rn. If you do anything, replace the GPU with like a GTX 6XX card first oder so

I'm also working on several things in the project. I've had Sublime Text open for hours, and even though I say this, I don't think I can do it alone. The original repository had 10 contributors, and here I think there are only 4 or 5 of us for now.
