Why is windows media player so fucking good? Like i've been using linux with all equalizers possible (Pulseaudio EQ, JamesDSP, EasyEffects), various players like VLC, audacious, SMPlayer (some in windows too) and NONE of them compares to windows media player quality and speed, even without proper audio drivers.
VLC which is the closest option shits itself with deep bass (has cracklings like rain in the roof) and ACKS if you play too much with the timebar.

I mostly use media player with visual effects off and just like the audio quality, especially the equalizer bass that make other players brap.
Will try winamp and foobar2000 doe, milkdrop has gemmy visuals but seems more goyish to me with the "pay for hq audio" part.

My 3080 was crashing all the time in games on the late January driver, so I had to use the one before it (It still crashes a bit, but not in games that I play a lot.) A few years ago, I'd get artifacting while YouTube was open in a browser, and it took them 6-9 months to fix it.

So I'm vibecoding this Android app, right? Real pajeet shit. I have no idea how to write Android apps. Who cares, right? It's 2026. Let AI do it.
I'm also talking to Grok on the side, asking it what features I should add to this thing. I added this one feature, doesn't matter what, and it took me about 5 minutes to tell Claude "Hey add this shit" and for it to deploy.
So just for fun, I asked Grok to calculate how many jobs I just erased - me, a person with zero Android experience, adding a feature to my stupid-ass vibecoded Android app in 5 minutes.
Grok thought for a while about freelance Android developers and hourly rates and college costs (I never went, high school diploma).
It concluded that in the five minutes it took me to add a feature to my app using AI, I displaced about $280 worth of white-collar labor, and put almost one (0.933) freelance Android developers out of work. In five minutes.
I could have hired YOU to add that feature for $280. But now your IT degree is worthless so I won't.
