>>35089Well, I have it so its extremely easy for me to encrypt my iPhone whenever I need to. If I click an accessibility button, tap the back of my phone twice, or click a specific shortcut app on my home screen, my phone immediately restarts which sends it to BFE (before first unlock) mode and encrypts everything. However, this is under the assumption that I have ample time to do so before I get 'aped by glowies.

Not an iPhone user, but some people I know use iCloud
Apparently iCloud can do full device backups, and people backup their phone and bring a wiped one through security, and then restore it on good internet later
Do be aware, if you aren't a U.S. citizen you have no rights from unwarranted search and seizure
They can take your stuff and keep it forever if they dislike you, detain you for well, I don't think there's a legal limit actually, and deport you as they please.
Additionally, your iPhone's "encryption" won't do jack shit, because it's backdoored to hell and back
Whatever you do, have a backup of your phone and laptop made, so at least if your stuff gets taken you still have 99% of what you need at home.
