Don't fuck around with hidden UEFI settings unless you have a proper external flasher to fix it. I just bricked my main work laptop because I was messing with memory speeds and didn't realize it's stored in nonvolatile flash. Since memory training happens and fails before I can access the menu and fails, I can't reset it. I did get 5200 MT/s up from 4800 stable doe, but 5300 did noting and 5600 bricked it. The chips are rated for 6400 but the memory controller of my CPU is only rated for 5200. Once my chinkshit CH341A comes in, I'll update you on other things I try. I'm planning on neutering the ME and overclocking the iGPU. Hopefully I can just enable being able to do it in userspace

should I convert the jpg images on my website to webp? I tested converting an image to webp and it has the same pixel size but with much lesser KB (900 kb to 200 kb) and it looks almost the same, it could save me a lot of very good bandwidth, or, should I keep using the same jpg files? which file format will always be supported? my website is currently 15 MB but i want it to be way smaller

Yes do it. Anyone without fast broadband visiting your site will be saved extreme amounts of pain waiting for your huge ass images to load.
Also try avif, and try adjusting the quality settings. Modern image formats can do wonders.

Is this actually the first Free Software AI program? It's literaly licensed under the GPLV3 and I think they use "open-weights" AI although I don't know what that means… if they released a desktop program for GNU/Linux, do you think that the FSF would list it in their directory? Even if the client is the only thing GPLV3, it is still free software, I think it's a similar issue with Telegram, that the backend is proprietary but the client is libre

Terrible fucking decision. I looked at them when they were being forced by every single tech nerd on jewtube, and its a shit deal. Either you can get a ultrabook level laptop for the price of a workstation, or a workstation for a ridiculously high price. If you need a powerful laptop, get a thinkpad, dell or HP workstation, or a used gaming laptop. If you don't need the gpu to be portable, get a regular PC and a regular windows laptop.

Frameworks sucks ass because not only is it stupidly expensive, its also all proprietary. This isn't like old laptops where they all used the same standard CPU sockets and stuff. You will have to buy their official upgrades, at a price that will also be extortionate. All for what? Some irl soyjak dongle port things that you can swap out that come in all the colours of soylent bottles?

The repairability is nice but really for the amount of money you pour in, if you aren't a retard you aren't breaking a laptop often at all, you can use it until it dies and then its time to replace it anyway because its been ages and its outdated already.
