looking back now, Rhea Ripley only got the spot of top woman in 2024 because:
> Charlotte Flair was sidelined with severe knee injuries and would be out for all of 2024
> Becky Lynch left WWE to go do Happy Gilmore 2.
> Alexa Bliss missed two years because she was pregnant. Her last appearance had been the 2023 Royal Rumble.
> Asuka last appeared at Backlash in France. She was supposedly out because she underwent knee surgery, but then somebody among the higher-ups (Triple H) supposedly made a pass at Asuka, she rejected him, feared retaliation from him for rejecting him and even long after she was healed up and cleared to wrestle, she didn't return until the June 16, 2025 episode of Raw.
But the problem is, TKO realized they weren't making much money with Rhea as the top woman because she comes off as another Triple H-style selfish stat padder.

that's why WWE had to bring back Charlotte, Bliss, Becky, Asuka and then two later-days Divas Era relics in Nikki Bella and AJ Lee a year later to revitalize the women's division, because Rhea just wasn't cutting it as the top star of her own division.

co-incidentally, Rhea quickly faded fast once Charlotte, Bliss, Becky, Asuka, Nikki and AJ Lee all came back. And if Sasha Banks/Mercedes Mone were to come back to the WWE, that would be it for Rhea's WWE career, because Triple H sure loves him some Sasha Banks he'll give her the world.

Apparently, Westside Gunn got kicked out of a WWE Raw show and has cut all ties with WWE.

He probably (and most likely) got kicked out for being a walking IP risk by using WWE's albums for his art covers, and TKO saw him as a threat to their bottom line because his music isn't brand-safe.

You just can't do that, especially if you call yourself a fan who attended WWF/E shows for years.

Westside Gunn got some fucking nerve playing the victim when he's the one who illegally used WWE music for his album covers without TKO's permission.

Westside Gunn doesn't deserve any credit for changing the landscape of wrestling, and wrestling as a whole still has the stigma of being uncool.

That's why i'm on the mission i'm on, because in order for wrestling to be considered cool again, it can't just be a bunch of people like Westside Gunn with notoriety and money who just show up to events.

That's not gonna change the landscape of wrestling. What's gonna change the way people feel about wrestling is the stuff they see on the TV and what they see when they go to the shows. What WWE's been doing for a long time now, their shows are trash and don't nobody respect that, because there's no reason to respect it.

There's no good characters, there's no good stories, and just because a rich guy showed up to an event and stole some things and threw some wrestlers on his illegal merch, Westside Gunn ain't made wrestling cool!
All he did was steal intellectual property!
He's lucky his ass ain't getting sued by WWE-TKO right now!
