I played this game on steam. It's an interesting critique of the "outcast romance" usually romanticized in media. With both of them having a negative influence on eachother.
Fuminori is pretty obviously portrayed as a pedophilic groomer corrupting a childlike alien into becoming a murderous fiend, while fuminori himself descends into insanity. He directly leads her to her death (in both her "blooming" ending which is an obvious parallel to the high death rates of underaged pregnancies and the good ending). Their relationship itself is absolutely not a "romantic" one, it is one completely born out of circumstance.
