I don't even mean this in a bait kinda way, I genuinely don't get it. Like this site was literally built around 4chan culture, all the original users were 4channers, and more than half of the memes and lingo here comes from 4chan. The most common reasons I see is "le trannies and BBC", but the sharty is far more infected by those things than 4chan these days. Faggot tourists will always be around. Another thing is obviously 'p, but the sharty has been spammed with that as well in the past, and the vast majority of users on both sides condemn it. Also sure, of course tranny jannies on 4chan can be massively annoying, but honestly it's harder to get banned from 4chan /pol/ than /soy/ nowadays. Other than that I guess there's the existence of fag boards like /lgbt/, but at least it's a containment board and a small one. When I browse 4chan /pol/ or any of the bigger boards, it feels identical to browsing the sharty. Similar jokes, and similar opinions, just with less soyquoting Ig. It didn't use to be like this, so I genuinely think it's just nusoicacas from places like reddit and tiktok who just repeat what they've seen a few soiteens say without actually ever visiting 4chan, or in worse cases troons on those sites or twitter who've never visited either site, and just LARP.

You can get away easily with calling people niggers on /a/ or /co/ for example. Not that I'm defending the subhuman jannies, but it's not much better on here overall. 4chan /pol/ is a LOT less restrictive than the sharty when it comes to bans.
