Trans women are losing rights, acceptance primarily because trans [female] culture is its own culture, and conforming to that culture/subcultures is more important to most trans women than…just living as a woman.
The most readily apparent example of this are Boymoders who scream they want to kill themselves in front of passing trans women, or who attack them as bad people for being privileged or getting a surgery. For them, posting AI memes and "dooming" > living as a woman.
>That's not true you're extremely online
If you're a trans woman who doesn't like the pre-approved cultural stuff, who just lives as a woman in day-to-day life, the "Community" will want nothing to do with you. You'll be seen as the trans equivalent of "pickmes" are for cis women, "Uncle Toms" are for blacks. Even those who don't say anything will quietly resent you and view you as a collaborationist.
>ummm what about LGB and trans men
I'm not any of those letters and it's not my place to comment on it. Focus.
I'm not claiming that things were always easy for trans women, but there are plenty of historical examples of trans women prior to the 2010s who lived normally without the sheer magnitude of present transphobia directed at them. Transgender liberalism has only eroded previously-existing rights and opened the door to a "third gender" or wishy-washy identification not related to how one lives their life or an underlying medical condition, facilitating transphobia, concerns about regret, and the view of it as an ideology rather than a step one needs to take to live one's life.
