My mom is objectively a terrible person and a total BPD mentally ill psycho but I can't help but still care about her somehow. I also kind of feel bad cuz she's clearly not well in the head.

She can act pretty normal some days, and then some days she has meltdowns and tantrums and starts fights with my dad for no reason, starts impulsively cleaning the entire house so she can start a fight over her "doing everything" in the house, threatens a murder-suicide, wishes death and illnesses on random relatives etc.

She also almost went to jail and got into terrible debt for scamming people onlinv for tens of thousands of dollars and partially involved me by having her scam money be sent to MY bank account. The feds also took my electronics twice while investigating my mother cuz I had no proof I owned them

But on the other hand my mom always got me whatever I wanted and I am the only person she doesn't act psycho towards i guess

Yes but when she gave me something I wanted, she always tried to use it to manipulate me into thinking I had it good and that I was being ungrateful

yeah basically mine is the exact same, except for the threats she doesn't do that, but she did constantly try to kill my dad when she got drunk on vodka a few years ago, but she actually stopped drinking vodka and now gets drunk on beer but keeps saying you can't get drunk on beer. she usually goes absolutely insane when she gets time off work or on holidays where she drinks and destroys the whole home or just sleeps on the floor trying to use her vape pen as a phone and then asking me why it doesn't work.
