>>16835914 (OP)I live in America and I'm sort of similar. Not interested in becoming a streamer or YouTuber but I do want to pursue creative passions. You just can't fucking fake it. I've been in and out of college for years (23 now) because I genuinely fucking hate it. I'm planning on working and becoming a firefighter for the foreseeable future. I'd rather be a firefighter, EMT, or police officer than pursue anything in college. Don't let people shame you for choosing something else. That shame has shackled me from doing what I really want for years.

AI is going to replace the vast majority or computer centric jobs. I would be very careful with what you choose to study if you plan on going to university. Think about what will actually make you feel good in a job. Perhaps something creative but being a streamer or jewtuber is probably not going to work out; it is extremely hard to find a niche and get popular and actually get paid and its a lot harder than people think.

>>16835914 (OP)If you're like me, I recommend going to community college for the next two years while you figure out what you want to do. This is absolutely not for everybody, and it requires you to start tracking your progress yourself and keeping yourself accountable, but it saved me from enrolling in uni to get a piece of shit useless degree (I figured out what I wanted to do over the summer after high school) and it saved me from a good 10-20k in debt in the long run.

>>16835942And one thing about graduating high school is that the amount of free time you have (supposing you can stay living with your parents for a bit) is incredible. You will figure out what you want to do if you don't waste that time.

>>16835979I also considered pursuing something public administration related at uni, I guess. That was also part of my HS field somewhat and I suppose it sounds the least grueling.

I chose a business major because it sounds like you can do a lot with it, and I like economics, but i have no idea what I'm gonna do. Also, where are you from? HS where you get to choose a field to specialize in sounds great.
