They are. Supposedly when the captcha system went down (i.e. it briefly stopped giving captchas, so any user could post without having to click through it) the PPH dropped by around 1/2-2/3rds immediately afterwards. That might not make much sense until you realize that it broke every autonomous bot during that brief period of time (like a couple hours) but stopped nobody else. I heard this from an anonymous 'teen on the shitty btw so it could be total horseshit
