My parents just paid for everything when I was a teen.

Now I have a small source of income by helping my parents do shady shit and I also have a lot of money saved from an inheritance, but that's about it. It's hard to explain to my friends how I always have money. I just don't answer or embarrassingly say my parents still give me allowance

Thats a good way of thinking, and if you constantly think about it maybe you actually should get a part-time job. It may affect your further plans for a career in a positive way.

Its fine, even if you would start earlier you would probably just waste some more years of you life on a shitty blue-collar job. Nothing to worry about not doing it
