temporary bandaid because they are lazy fucking niggers. you could just set the vichan hash approvel mode to sha256 then automate a script to go through all images and sha256 hash it and replace its value in the approvel table it would literally take 5 minutes to make a script to do that but you are just fucking lazy

also collision attack still probably works because they are still using md5 as i already stated unless they are removing the files hash from the db table when the image is removed from the server (i doubt this is happening) so if someone was to upload good.png then wait for it to get deleted they could upload evil.png and it would still get through approval provided they arent removing hashes after deletion as i already said. just takes a bit longer i guess.
