I think you're right I stopped doing the jackbox because people started spamming dnb 'oodist and tookout the soyjaks as the punchline for the most part. Raids like the textwall or printergobrr where the geggiest and why the trolling is fun.

I have this concept in my head called a "functional P-zombie". If you don't know a P-zombie is someone who looks and acts like a normal regular person but doesn't actually have a consciousness or free will or anything, they are basically meat robots that do exactly what their biology and emotions tell them to. Most people are functional p-zombies, they have consciousness and free will but they dont use it, they are just passive observers in their own body, letting their brain and emotions and evolutionary biology make all the decisions for them, which means they can be manipulated like animals. If you wear red around a bull it gets pissed off, if you give a dog a treat to reward it for doing something it knows to keep doing that thing, if you give a functional p-zombie a tiktok algorithm or vape it will keep using it since their brain has been hijacked and manipulated.

As for going to church, I think that is a good idea but I am not sure that it will solve this specific problem. There are plenty of p-zombies there too, and the church leaders know this, which is why they use weird poetic and emotional language all the time when talking about whatever they are teaching. God is the ultimate non P-zombie though so I don't think it is a bad idea to have a relationship with him.
