I really loved the concept of dr bright at first since it made the whole thing less overtly serious but its definitely infected the whole scene and it resulted in the oversaturation of humor in whats supposed to be a quite dark project

You can't even enjoy the backrooms, it's filled with thrembillion useless nigger levels which look peaceful and the same overused happy place but it's horrorino matutino and it contrasts a lot with the hopeless labyrinth of the original concept, and it's even worse with the useless nigger entities. There's still Kane Pixels but there isn't a lot to add to the original story but I think that's for the better
I think there was another phono who made these weird creatures which actually looked good by concept and design but it was more like an art project instead of the containment facility idea, it was really popular like 4 or 5 years ago but it was overrun by cacas and I don't know of the original guy is still making more of those phonos

Honestly I cant really blame cacas for adding so many levels on backrooms, they're young and not as ruinous like grown up troons who do it on purpose. The original yellow backrooms corridor is THE canon you could just ignore their deviantart tier works. And if you're talking about Henderson his project have all the lanky horror design tropes that look like horror mascots too so im not surprised they're magnetised to his works

The more sinister reasoning is DjKaktus is responsible for influential articles like SCP-1730 (that SCP-5000 everypony goons over wouldn't exist without it. Also relies heavily on OCs donut steel) and SCP-2316 ("I do not recognize the bodies in the water". Aka why every article has to break the 4th wall now). SCP-6666 is the most egregious cancer on current article quality. It's a long snca boring piece with zero explunges, zero mystery, zero horror. It reads like a creepypasta because that's all it really is. The "big scary fish underwater" was done much more immersively in series 1: SCP-169. His articles have no 'government paperwork' flavor to them, it's just horror fiction. SCP fucking sucks because one of the most popular creators doesn't give a shit about the SCP theme and just uses it to write shitty sci-fi horror. Every new writer wants to be DjKaktus because DjKaktus has a tranny cult around him. Every new writer now either writes HECKIN ACTION (with OCs), HECKIN 4TH WALL BREAK or HECKIN POLITICAL METAPHOR because of DjKaktus.
