I actually play chess competitively, over the board chess, I make money from it I also coach people.
And the problem goes much deeper
Theory itself is not a issue, I believe every βdecentβ (above 1800FID) player should be booked to a degree. But what I see is the lack of fundamental understanding for the positions arising out of the said theory they learn.
Another thing thatβs very common, or at least was idk if it still is since Iβm not a youth player anymore is that these people actually live by their coaches. Its insane that they basically worship them as gods, if their coach told them to overdose on ketamine they would actually think about it
^Tying back into my previous point, the reason what ticks me off is that what these people with coaches used to say>b-but my coach said that this position was good<why>he said sothey donβt know anything besides the first moves that their coach told them and completely disregard any kind of positional planning
As for online chess, thats a shithole which I have a passionate hatred for just played by pajeets and actual niggers, Iβve been banned of lichess.org so many times that they stopped caring about me ban evading
YES I am insanely autistic
Also, Iβve been thinking about this for a while but would nusois be interested in playing an online tournament at some point
