I saw someone say earlier that aside from 4cuck, the sharty is one of the largest imageboards. Is this true? I'm not entirely familiar with the imageboard scene since this is the first one I've ever really been on and I thought this was just one among many

sharty is the most active in the anglosphere, and its certainly the most relevant imageboard as of 2026
there are some SNCA foreign imageboards like dvach that have more pph than the sharty, but less PPH than 4cuck

Even then, most actual users there are genuinely, clinically insane reddit and twitter crossposter consumer whores that will die on the most ridiculous SNCA hills. 4chan offers nothing that you can't experience better on Reddit and twitter themselves. honestly, all the non-splinter 4cuck alternatives are either dead, for niche subjects, or have a worse EPI and moderation problem than the shart
i don't even recommend browsing the foreign language boards with google translate because its just like 4cuck but slightly less rulecucked and significantly more pedo-coded

This is a good thing. Find something else to do. 4trannies decided to ruin 4chan instead of just leaving it for a few hours when they get bored of it. Although most people will tell you otherwise because they didn't use the website before mid 2014 at the very earliest, 4chan used to be way more chill and "boring", and far slower during US night hours. (English to ESL note: "Chill" does not necessarily mean much higher objective quality and le cereal discussion.)
