>put in the shampoo
>rinse out the shampoo
>scrub my body with soap
>put in conditioner/hair oil (optional, depends on the day)
>apply face wash
>rinse out conditioner/hair oil (if present)
>turn the temperature to 0
>kneel down and recite an intercessory prayer
>say the Hail Mary with my eyes closed
>make the sign of the cross
>turn around 7 times (sometimes 12, depending) with my eyes closed
>massage my hair to the count of 60 (sometimes 72, depending)
>wash my face in the cold water to the count of 60 (sometimes 72, depending)
>turn off the water
>get out of the shower
i know a lot of you are probably going to think this is weird but i've been doing it since i was fifteen or so and i feel antsy and just simply not right if i dont do it, even if i have to do it hurriedly. the only exceptions are when im on holiday somewhere else because it doesn't feel like my shower so i sort of have rush or alter things a little

I use soap only on my armpits and genitals. I turn 90 degrees to leave the shower, then dry off. After I apply a tiny bit of baking soda and coconut oil to my armpits.
