Music influences your brainwaves n shiet and helps you maintain continuity between your thoughts. Maybe I should really just be working without music at all, but either way this is probably a step in the right direction. Seemingly I can keep the advantages of music to an extent without it drowning out my thoughts. Have any of (You) ever tried this?

Interesting, it's the exact opposite for myself. Typically I can write far better if I have some kind of music playing, although I really struggle to do math or coding unless I have complete silence.
