Apologies for the hour of downtime, the site got dropped by the host.

People with a neovagina, can it ever truly heal and can you ever move away from a state where the neovagina feels uncomfortable to have?

I have only read negative stories when you ask people to be honest.

Can you not have a neovagina and have pleasurable intercourse with it without feeling like the neovagina is a bother to your life?

I'm over a year post op and can say without hesitation that there is no sensation in the canal. Certainly nothing akin to feeling that the shaft used to have. I bleed up there after most dilations now (after not dilating for a week on surgeons instructions) but can't feel a thing. I could probably bleed out during my sleep and not notice (what a blessing that would be).

The gspot / prostate is less sensitive that it used to be. The clitoris is useless.

Haven't climaxed since before the op and can't really get close if I'm honest with myself.

As a trans woman and lesbian with a female partner I wish I had never had it done, it's nowhere near as good as most people lead you to believe and crap compared to the real thing. Useless smelly hole that serves absolutley no function apart from pissing me off on a daily basis.

The ONLY benefit of the op is not having to tuck.

To be blunt, why would intercourse be pleasurable? There are no nerve endings there like there are in natural born genitalia.

It will never be a vagina. Never. That’s just plain biological truth. It’s something else.

Something people have to realize is it is VERY much a gamble. There are no guarantees. Dilation is forever. You have to take better care of yourself and watch what you eat and take. Your body will be all out of whack and no longer produce enough hormones on its own. And the chance of at least minor bacterial infection and fishy smell are always there. Insensitivity is inevitable to at least some extent. And most importantly, if you don't have an incredible pain tolerance, stay the heck away from this. If you're not willing to live with these things, you should not even consider surgery.

With all that said, it does sometimes work out. But you have to take care of yourself and put a lot of work in. So will it always be a bother? Yes, no matter the outcome, it will take time out of your life. If you can manage that, if it's life or death, then you should consider surgery.

Surgeons lie, they all do. They're trying to sell you something, so it's a given. I'm just trying to give it to you straight. No agenda.
