The Wee Star and the Moon
Once upon a time, in the vast, dark heavens, there be a tiny star named Lila. She were but a wee flicker of light, and every night, she'd sparkle as bright as she could muster. But for all her shinin', she often felt lonesome. The other stars seemed leagues away, and the sky felt far too big for her.
One night, while Lila were twinklin', she spied a soft, glowin' figure floatin' alongside her. 'Twere the Moon, glowin' with a calm, silver light.
"Ahoy, wee star," said the Moon with a gentle grin. "Why do ye look so downhearted?"
Lila looked up at the Moon and let out a sigh. "I shine so bright every night, but it feels like nary a soul notices me. I be but a small speck in such a great sky."
The Moon chuckled softly. "Ah, but Lila, do ye know why ye shine so bright?"
Lila shook her wee starry head. "Nay, why?"
"Because ye make the night more fair to behold. Without ye, the sky would be naught but darkness. Ye bring light to the world, even if it feels like no one sees ye. And I see ye, wee star, every night. Ye be never alone."
Lila's wee starry heart glowed a bit brighter at the Moon's kind words. From that night on, she shined with even more joy, knowin' that her light were important, no matter how small she seemed.
And so, every night, the wee star Lila twinkled with a happy glow, knowin' that in the vast, dark sky, she were loved and needed.
The end.
I hope that brought a bit o' peace to yer night, me hearty. Sweet dreams!
