He believed the northern steppe peoples, among whom the Aryans are numbered, had a specific proto-cultural ethos as a result of the nomadic nature of their existence, which would eventually go on to manifest as the Faustian high culture's will to overcome all boundaries. According to this interpretation, the Aryan cultural and genetic heritage of Europe represents an integral part in the emergence of space exploration.
This insight becomes even more impressive when you realize Spengler died before the first man-made object crossed the Karman line.
