if it says you don't have flatpak do sudo apt install flatpak

also make sure when you play it's actually using your graphics drivers otherwise you will have performance issues nuswoogie

are you using mint or ubuntu? there should be an application you can search in the start menu for drivers. Don't download any from the manufacturer because they will be harder to update
