Sharty hacked 4chan and sent people from there to here and while it was down and 4channers were posting on sharty for a while until jannies kicked sharty hackers out of the website and it went back up.
Now most of them are back at their website but there are still some that remain but nowhere near the peak when 4chan was still down.

pph/total posts is not a metric when you can infinitely spam here. unique users took a nosedive when 4chan came back up in April of 2024 and never recovered.
people come here to post shit they’d get banned on 4chan for then go to the next tab which has 4chan open and carry on.
this combined with a focus on “newGODS”, meaning twitter, instagram and tiktok migrants aka “edgy” normgroids and children is disastrous for culture and retention, as the established userbase gets sick of the migrants and leave. so you just have a revolving door of faggots coming in and out combined with 30 or so resident schizos and botters shitting it up for everyone.
the site changing hands a bunch of times has also been a huge detriment, plus the ever increasing centralised control, rulecuckery and data mining.
tl;dr: the 4chan hack was actually the worst thing that happened for the sharty and it will never recover

I may not remember correctly but it seemed that traffic dropped rapidly after 4cuck came back online, it was still at 11M at the time so atleast 3-4M should have came from elsewhere. I do watch instagram reels sometimes and there is a lot of soyjak content on there
