This. I used to sage threads all the time, but as I learned to ignore bait and just keep making gems, it's been far more pleasant. I'm not perfect, I still leak occasionally, but I've been falling for bait a lot less often and it really helps.

Maybe if more people realised this, we could use the information to our advantage and the same stale bait will stop getting posted as frequently.
