I have a theory that most Sharty splinters are victims of disinformation campaigns and astroturfing. When you read into the nature of most splinters, they appear as inferior, often controversial attempts to make a differentiating imageboard. But why may that be the case?

One of my theories speculates that it's a deliberate attempt to preserve "Sharty culture", as any new splinter that introduces itself as a better alternative always seems to fall short. Thus, they probably send detractors into said splinters to tarnish their reputation. One might argue that leadership is at fault, but the Sharty is no stranger to bad leadership. People only stay here as it's the birthplace of "Sharty culture" as we see it today, and having to migrate would feel like betrayal for most 'teens.
