In the following thread i would like to outline why the terms "IAS" and "NAS" as currently understood are too limiting for defining soy culture.

The what:
IAS (Is A Soyjak) is normally used to identify a soyjak (or soy wojak) as properly being one (bald, glasses, stubble etc), and NAS (Not A Soyjak) for everything that falls outside this narrow category.

The problem:
By this logic, there are many dear variants or slightly more generic memes that do not fall under this category, but are still indispensable and beloved in soy culture as a whole.

Do this:
Therefore, i believe the term IAS should be extended and granted to also all those "memes" that are conceptually vital to any soy discourse, as they are still relevant to the broader concept of a soyjak.

Example:
A practical demonstration of this new mode of interpretation can be seen by taking as example two memes: chud (pol wojak) and gigachad (homo gigas)
Chud does not possess the qualities to be IAS by the old definition, but as a perfect personification of a bitter and cynical opposite to a soy-man makes it ideal for appearing alongside IAS variants.
Much the same for giga, the buff grey man who isn't even a trace, as the personification of everything that a man shall strive to become, in direct contrast to effeminate tendencies of irl soyjaks.

Why do this:
Using this new updated logic, it would become easier to ban everything that isn't soy culture from places like /soy/ while still maintaining an articulated "vocabulary" for the soylent discourse.
It will also allow for more creativity when it comes to innovation, as long as the new variant or meme are relevant to the concept of soy.
It would finally settle debate over variants that are not strictly IAS but are still inseparable from the soysphere.

/soy/ is for soyjaks and related content
Since Chud interacts with soyjaks often he is included, same with Giga (often as opposite of Soyjak)
Soytan also is included because she is based on actual soylent
All of these are allowed, on their own, on /soy/
On the other hand, a true strict version of the rules should be applied on /jak/ so no Chud or Giga or others on their own should be allowed on /jak/

If it's already like this, the 'ki should be updated then since the IAS and NAS explanations are misleading
