yeah but in the dream the index view font was extremely small and so were the thumbnails so the issue was even more pronounced

imo there should be a left sidebar with all the board shortcut and a thread watcher window (QUOTE FUCKING ADD THAT ALREADY), and some other info like the post/reply window could be in that sidebar too
alternatively there could be a mini catalog view in that sidebar where you could switch the currently viewed thread on the right half of your screen
