it was never. a true socialist state should not have its rules modified by its leaders. even reformist/goulash socialism isnt the same as normal socialism. just like communism its probably impossible since (almost) all leaders want to add or remove somethign from the original idea. and it this is true for all "basic" ideologies not just socialism/communism

Literally no one except Trotskyites and Anarkiddies claim this. The Soviet Union was socialism, when people claim Communism has never been tried it’s taken out of context, they mean that Communism has never been achieved, not that there have never been socialist or communist governments.
Also yes Soviet Union was based and had zero trannies.

communism is an outdated ideology that was reflection of 19th century, and the only reason why people remember it is because of soviet union, and the intense need of trannies to hate their own country and glorify whatever was against it
