i'm a compsci student, i try making friends during classes but even then they don't last or we don't meet in other contexts. somehow others have this easier and seems like they can do so effortlessly, i'm not sure if it's charm or charisma or whatever

its a mix of looks, charisma, and also you just have to realize 90% of college students are just there to work, not make friends. Schools are fine places to make friends but the way you do that is by joining clubs.

be proactive op. the things you want in life will not come to you. you have to run to them. effort is something a lot of people don't want to put in but if you want to succeed and stop being such a sad lonely piece of shit then you have to do this.
