Men with depression are many times more likely to harm and abuse others. Suicide is not a private affair for most men. It’s typically a form of retribution or extortion. Men rarely if ever suffer silently, they are dedicated to making others around them suffer as well. Threatening suicide is a form of manipulation tactic and a form of abuse. When men do it, it’s because they’re impulsive and irrational enough to take the last step of “mutually ensured destruction”. My sympathy for them doesn’t extend if they are retarded enough to see it through.
Ask any woman who has dealt with a suicidal man just how he treated her and others. These men are not pitiable. They either try to drag everyone else down with them as a form of punishment, or use it as a threat to get what they want.
