Warning: wordswordswordswords

From my observations and from the opinions of others, It is becoming obvious that 'jakking and OC creation is slowly becoming dull, with reddit frogs and ai gigaslop slowly taking over the whole site. Hell, even the swede himself exclusively posts frogs and gigas, which goes to show how fucked the current state of the site is when the pioneer himself quit doing what he created.

But i made this post not to complain and seethe, but to offer my solutions to it, My solution is to start exploring more unorthodox approaches and distinct ways to create 'jaks without deviating from the tradition, Now what i'am saying is not to straight up draw anything even if its NAS coal and deviate from the tradition, Theres a reason on why we have rules to classify whats IAS or NAS, What iam saying is to break boundaries WITHIN the tradition, make innovations that evolves the tradition and does not deviate from it.

So how do we do this?:

So here are methods that I learned from the book "Ultralearning" that will help you to experiment on your 'jaks:

1. Impose artificial constraints on yourself. Give yourself an arbitrary restriction when making 'jaks, a shorter time limit, a smaller toolset or a narrow range of options. This will help you in adapting.
2. Hybridize from different domains. Most gemmy innovations emerge from a collision of unrelated fields, so when making 'jaks, try taking a look at other domains like philosophy, law, or whatever to see how it might enrich your 'jak
3. Reverse-engineer a lot of the succesesful 'jaks, for example, try to find hidden patterns do they have or what sets these succesesful 'jaks apart, then experiment incorporating a lot of the elements you noticed into your 'jaks
4. Just post them, don't care about some random 14 year old named Nathan from Florida saying that your 'jak is brimmy, unless it is, then maybe reevaluate what you just posted. It's also important to listen to criticism from others so that you can improve a lot more

To be honest, I haven't thought through much in this post,So if there is any criticism you have, Be sure to tell me

The reason jakking is dull is not because of any change in quality, it's because soyboys in the form of bald men with glasses don't exist anymore because we bullied them out of existence. Soyjaks in general have become mainstream. Things aren't the same as they once were and if we keep trying to relive the past it'll only get worse. Deep down we all know this and its why everything feels forced now

I don't know what to do about it but it's trve

What

>>14624707
somewhat trve, which is why i propose we should innovate and make it more than making fun of soyboys, while still is keeping the tradition

 â„–14624819[Quote]

>>14624770
to explain it more simply (since i didnt put it well), just try to get inspiriation from outside influences that are unusual

>>14624856
I think the reason for that is because mulletjak didnt look like funny humanoid creature like we see in other 'jaks but kind of look too detailed aswell, it didnt look something that could be shitposted and made into something new, thoughbeit i agree they had huge potential

we need to create as many high effort jaks but dont force them more a couple of times soyjaks are not bait they are the soul and lifeblood of the sharty just because they generate seethe doesn't always = gem. it might be hard to spend your afternoon drawing a jak just to have it die but it will encourage more artists to draw original jaks instead of playing it safe making variants

>>14625431
trvthnuke, people should actually experiment with their 'jaks and let it grow organically
